QHSE Policy
WESCO is committed to achieving the highest performance in Quality, Health, Safety and Environment protection. This will be achieved through demonstrated leadership, ethical behavior, and adherence to WESCO standards. WESCO will endeavor to conduct all operations in a manner that will protect the environment, communities, and the integrity of the company's human, physical and ensure alignment with our strategic direction.
Consistent with this policy, WESCO will:
- As our top priority is to ensure a safe, healthy, and sustainable workplace by prioritizing Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental protection, with a commitment to never compromise the wellbeing of our people, processes, customers, or communities.
- Seek continual improvement in Quality, Health, Safety, and protection of the Environment, taking into account responsible care, process vulnerabilities, public, customer and employee inputs, scientific Knowledge and technology, and best business practices to exceed customer expectations
- Establishing and executing Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental Objectives, while promoting employee competency through consistent framework and training.
- Demonstrate personal commitment to the prevention of employee injury., ill health, and nonproductive time while holding our managers and employees accountable for performance in their area(s) of responsibility;
- Communicate and consult with our employees, interested parties and our customers on Quality, Health, Safety, and protection of the Environment;
- Proactively strive to mitigate service-related product risks, workplace hazards, process inefficiencies, and pollution while minimizing environmental impact, reducing waste, and promoting reuse/recycling in our products and services;
- Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, standards and other requirements that the organization subscribes. Where adequate laws do not exist, we will apply standards that reflect our commitment to Quality, Health, Safety, protection of the Environment and customer satisfaction;
- Set, review and act upon our Key Performance Indicators, objectives and targets;
- Promote effective incident management, investigation, classification, prioritization, and control of hazards and risks
- Commit to continually improve the Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental Management System through the integration of risk-based thinking and management philosophy.
The policy shall be made available to our employees, customers, suppliers, and other interested parties and communicated to all persons working under our control with the intent that they are made aware of their individual obligations.
